Product Description
SP250HAG2T 250 kW hybrid inverter for C&I microgrids
The SP250HAG2T is an all-in-one PV-storage cabinet for grid-connected and off-grid commercial and industrial microgrids. Its rated active power is 250 kW; the published product data lists 250 kVA rated apparent power. Confirm the final nameplate and project configuration before procurement.
Integrated equipment and system connections
The cabinet combines a bidirectional PCS, two PV MPPT inputs, EMS, PCM grid/off-grid transfer equipment, AC/DC distribution, generator control, surge protection and a built-in isolation transformer. It is designed to connect PV, a battery, the utility grid and a diesel generator. PV input, battery, grid and generator terminals must be wired to the interfaces shown in the project diagram.
System power path
PV array → cabinet MPPT → DC bus ↔ PCS ↔ AC bus → site loads / grid interface. The battery connects to the DC side of the PCS. The diesel generator connects through the designed AC source interface and transfer equipment. The EMS coordinates available sources; final protection, grounding and transfer logic are project-specific.
Operating modes
- Grid-connected self-consumption: PV supplies loads first; surplus can charge the battery or export where the grid agreement and settings permit.
- Battery support: the PCS discharges to support loads during low PV output or a configured peak period.
- Off-grid / weak-grid operation: the PCS and transfer equipment support an islanded microgrid when the selected configuration and commissioning settings allow it.
- Diesel backup: the generator can support the AC bus and coordinate with storage under the configured EMS sequence.
Grid charging, export, black start and seamless transfer depend on the selected control configuration, external protection and local interconnection rules. Confirm these functions against the project-specific design.
Key verified selection data
- Battery voltage range: 680–900 V rated; maximum 950 V.
- MPPT voltage range: 200–850 V; maximum PV voltage: 950 V.
- PV input rating: 120 kW × 2 channels.
- Grid / off-grid AC voltage: 400/230 V; three-phase, four-wire configuration shown in the product data.
- Parallel operation: up to 3 units for the specified model.
- Protection: IP54. Operating range: −30 to 60 °C, with derating above 45 °C.
Suitable projects and design limits
Consider this cabinet for C&I PV-battery-diesel microgrids, mine backup power, construction sites and oilfield loads where integrated PV conversion and an isolation transformer are useful. Check load step and motor-starting demand, battery charge/discharge current, PV string design, generator minimum loading, bypass requirements and required transfer time. The stated parallel limit is three units; do not extrapolate it to larger arrays without written engineering approval.
