Frequently Asked Questions

Below are the questions most often asked by overseas buyers. If you do not find your answer here, please contact us and we will reply within one business day.

Parallel and commissioning tests of microgrid cabinets
Parallel operation and joint commissioning before shipment — every unit is powered up and tested before it is packed.
What is the minimum order quantity?

VGRID POWER supplies standardized microgrid core equipment, with a minimum order of 1 unit.

What are the payment terms?

We accept payment before delivery only. For customized or custom-made products, you pay a 50% deposit, with the balance settled before shipment.

What is the production lead time?

Standardized products are kept in stock; AC all-in-one cabinets are produced and delivered against customer orders, with a lead time of 15–45 days. The delivery date is specified in the contract in all cases.

Do you provide OEM and private-label services?

Yes. For volume orders we provide private-label services such as customer silk-screen printing, and the silk-screen cost can be credited against the volume order.

Which certificates do you provide?

ISO 9001/14001/45001 management system certifications, CE/safety/EN 50549-1/10, TUV, VDE, G99, AS 4777.2, etc. Grid-connection certifications for European, Australian and other countries and regions.

What is the warranty period?

All products carry a 24-month warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of shipment; defective goods are replaced free of charge or credited against the next order.

Product & technical questions

Selection, system compatibility and operating questions about VGRID PCS, hybrid inverters and microgrid equipment.

What is the difference between a PCS and a hybrid inverter?

A power conversion system (PCS) provides bidirectional conversion between a battery DC bus and the AC system. A hybrid inverter adds PV conversion and may also integrate MPPT, grid/off-grid transfer and EMS functions; the correct choice depends on the project topology.

Which VGRID product provides a wall-mounted 135 kW microgrid PCS?

LEONA-H135K is a split-architecture IP65 wall-mounted microgrid PCS. The supplied brochure lists 135 kVA rated off-grid output; confirm the active kW rating against the approved datasheet.

What is the LEONA-M200K 200 kW wall-mounted PV DC/DC controller used for?

LEONA-M200K is a PV-side MPPT controller for DC-coupled solar-storage systems. The brochure lists 8 MPPT channels, 16 PV inputs and a 200–950 V MPPT range; it is not a battery PCS or hybrid inverter.

What is integrated in the SP250HAG2T 250 kW hybrid inverter cabinet?

The SP250HAG2T combines PCS, MPPT, EMS, grid/off-grid transfer and AC/DC distribution in one cabinet, with a built-in isolation transformer. It can connect PV, batteries, the utility grid and a diesel generator.

How does LEONA-B750K differ from SP375/500HAG2?

SP375/500HAG2 integrates PV MPPT in the cabinet. LEONA-B750K is a split-type, grid-forming hybrid system with separate optional MPPT controllers, EMS and an isolation transformer; its brochure includes DC/AC-coupled, 2.25 MW parallel and UPS designs.

Can VGRID PCS and hybrid inverters be paralleled for 1 MW, 1.5 MW or 2 MW systems?

Models approved for parallel operation can be combined into megawatt-class solutions, including 1 MW, 1.5 MW and 2 MW design targets. The final quantity and cabinet combination must be checked against grid voltage, battery voltage, PV input, transformer, protection and EMS requirements.

Do these systems support grid-connected, off-grid and diesel-generator operation?

Selected PCS and hybrid inverter models support grid-connected and off-grid modes, generator coordination and grid/off-grid transfer. Transfer time and the required switching equipment vary by model and system design.

Should a solar-storage project use AC coupling or DC coupling?

AC coupling is often suitable for retrofits or systems with independent PV and battery conversion paths. DC coupling can share a DC bus and use PV DC/DC conversion; the decision should follow the PV voltage, battery range, operating modes and existing equipment.

What information is needed to select a PCS or hybrid inverter?

Provide the project country, grid voltage and frequency, required AC power, battery voltage and capacity, PV array data, grid/off-grid or generator requirements, and preferably a single-line diagram and load profile.

Can VGRID provide OEM, ODM or project-specific cabinet configurations?

OEM, ODM and cabinet integration can be reviewed for qualified projects. Send the target power, electrical architecture, enclosure requirements, applicable standards and drawings so the engineering team can confirm feasibility.
